Does it matter to you where your food comes from?

As I showed you all in class, chicken nuggets come from some, well, "different" parts of the chicken.  Now, it might not be the best parts of the chicken, but its IS approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), meaning it is perfectly fine to eat.
So, once again, here is Jamie Oliver, in his award-winning documentary, "Food Revolution".  Enjoy...?

  2. Heck, when it comes down to it...we have eaten them all this time without a problem, so what's the big deal?
(Although that video does change my mind a bit...)

I think it's a good demonstration about food production and all the processing that goes into it. It seems like people ARE becoming bothered by their food source - just look in our area. Farmers Markets, the Schenectady Greenmarket and places like the Co-Op in Niskayuna and The Fresh Market in Latham show that people are taking it into consideration. I wonder if we will still be talking about this in 5 years, or is this a fad?
