Electric Car Possibilities

Amazing how coincidences work...last week during our look at Nonfiction, we had a great conversation about the future of electric cars.  As the years go on, we will have more and more strain on the oil reserves of the world, which are quickly dwindling.

Well, as we brought up, our own General Electric (yes, the company in Schenectady that still employs a good number of people) is starting a new emphasis called "Ecomagination".  Much of their focus is on electric cars, and the feasibility of developing practical charging stations.  As I watched some TV last night, I saw a great commercial :

Pretty Neat, huh? I didnt see anybody paying, so that could be a problem...

Well, I did some more investigation, and they have a great website with tons of information. Take a look at this more detailed video -

Id love to hear what you all think! Let us know!

Have a Terrific Weekend!!

Hopefully every one of you will have a chance to get outside and do something fun in the sun.  When it is 60 degrees and sunny on November 13th...in Schenectady, you take advantage of it!  So, go out - have fun.  Run around, start a game of basketball, wiffle ball, soccer, whatever.  Walk to school and play on the playground...you might not see another day like this until April!

See you all on Monday!!
